Aunque su actividad se enfoca principalmente en el contenido vegetal del suelo, su influencia en los procesos ed\u00e1ficos es m\u00ednima y localizada (Rodr\u00edguez, 2015). Desde una perspectiva morfol\u00f3gica, sobresalen por sus antenas compuestas por cuatro artejos y mand\u00edbulas endognatas d\u00e9biles. Adem\u00e1s, resulta destacable la variabilidad en el n\u00famero de terguitos troncales, que puede oscilar entre 6, 9 y 10.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong><strong>Tetramerocerata<\/strong> de Chile<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En el contexto espec\u00edfico de Chile, la diversidad conocida abarca una familia (Pauropodidae) y tres g\u00e9neros (<em>Allopauropus<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>Pauropus<\/em>&nbsp;y&nbsp;<em>Juxtapauropus<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>N\u00famero de taxones en Chile:&nbsp;<\/strong>22 (especies v\u00e1lidas)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Familia <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.chilefauna.cl\/index.php\/pauropodidae-de-chile\/\">Pauropodidae<\/a><\/strong> Lubbock, 1867 | <strong>22 taxones<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Referencias<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Axe, P.
