Hymenoptera es el segundo orden con m\u00e1s especies de insectos despu\u00e9s de los cole\u00f3pteros, aunque en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os han surgido hip\u00f3tesis que plantean la posibilidad de que sean los himen\u00f3pteros quienes realmente dominan la biodiversidad de insectos en el mundo (Barrera Medina 2025).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><strong>Hymenoptera<\/strong>&nbsp;de Chile<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El orden Hymenoptera se encuentra representado en Chile por cuatro superfamilias de \u201cSymphyta\u201d (Siricoidea, Xyphidrioidea, Orussoidea y Tenthredionidea) y por 17 superfamilias de Apocrita; ocho correspondientes a Aculeata (Chrysidoidea, Vespoidea, Apoidea, Vespoidea, Formicoidea, Pompiloidea, Scolioidea y Tiphioidea) y las restantes nueve a \u201cParas\u00edtica\u201d (Megalyroidea, Ceraphronoidea, Evanioidea, Ichneumonoidea, Proctotrupoidea, Diaproidea, Platygasteroidea, Cynipoidea y Chalcidoidea). Aproximadamente, 1.630 especies han sido reportadas para el pa\u00eds, en 53 familias (Gibson y Huber 2000; Barrera Medina 2025).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>N\u00famero de
