La gl\u00e1ndula esta dividida en dos partes: una peque\u00f1a en el frente, que es la que produce el<br>veneno, y una porci\u00f3n m\u00e1s grande posterior que secreta una sustancia mucilaginosa (Aguilera y Casanueva 2005). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong><strong>Scytodidae<\/strong> de Chile<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En Chile se encuentran dos especies: la nativa y famosa ara\u00f1a tigre (<em>Scytodes globula<\/em>), y la especie introducida <em>Scytodes univittata.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>N\u00famero de taxones en Chile:\u00a0<\/strong>2 (especies v\u00e1lidas)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Scytodes globula<\/em> (Nicolet, 1849)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Scytodes univitatta<\/em> (Simon, 1882) | <strong>sp. introducida<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Referencias<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Aguilera, M.A. &amp; Casanueva, M.E.
