Escribe a tomasromandlf@gmail.com. \u00a1Gracias!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><strong>Cetorhinidae<\/strong> <\/strong>Gill, 1861<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Los <strong>Cetorhinidae<\/strong> son una familia monot\u00edpica de tiburones pertenecientes al orden de los Lamniformes, cuyo \u00fanico miembro vivo en la actualidad es el impresionante <strong>tibur\u00f3n peregrino<\/strong> (<em>Cetorhinus maximus<\/em>). Es el segundo pez m\u00e1s grande del mundo, superado \u00fanicamente por el tibur\u00f3n ballena, llegando a alcanzar longitudes de hasta 10 metros. A nivel anat\u00f3mico, se caracteriza por poseer un hocico c\u00f3nico y prominente, un cuerpo robusto de coloraci\u00f3n gris\u00e1cea o marr\u00f3n, y unas <strong>hendiduras branquiales extraordinariamente largas<\/strong> que casi rodean por completo su cabeza. Como miembro de los lamniformes, carece de membrana nictitante, pero comparte con ellos la capacidad de mantener su temperatura corporal regulada por encima de la del entorno marino.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A diferencia de la mayor\u00eda de los miembros de su orden, que son depredadores activos de grandes presas, los Cetorhinidae son gigantes pac\u00edficos que se alimentan exclusivamente por <strong>filtraci\u00f3n pasiva<\/strong>. Cavan o \u00abperegrinan\u00bb lentamente por el oc\u00e9ano con su descomunal boca abierta, permitiendo que el agua fluya a trav\u00e9s de sus branquias, donde unas estructuras filamentosas especializadas (branquispinas) atrapan masivas cantidades de plancton, krill y peque\u00f1os crust\u00e1ceos.
